Preparing for Internet of Things’ impact on healthcare

The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming health care. IoT has numerous applications in health care, from remote monitoring to medical device integration. It has the potential to not only keep patients safe and healthy, but to improve how patients interact with their physicians and other health care providers. But like any new technology, it presents challenges.

On May 10, 2018, Marsh’s HealthCare Practice hosted a complimentary, one-hour webcast, “From Disruptive to Transformative: Preparing for Internet of Things’ Impact on Health Care.” Our panel of experts from Marsh, NetDiligence®, and Hogan Lovells discussed:

  • Why IoT is important to transforming health care and how it is impacting markets globally.
  • Emerging privacy and security concerns stemming from the connected devices and the large amount of data they generate.
  • IoT’s impact to the cyber risk industry supporting health care providers and how the insurance market is responding.
