Christophe is the Chief Executive Officer of Guy Carpenter France. As CEO, Christophe is responsible for overseeing broking activities across the French marketplace. Before being appointed to the role of CEO, he was a Managing Director in Guy Carpenter’s Paris office and served as Deputy CEO in charge of the broking for both life and non-life insurance business.
Christophe joined Guy Carpenter in 2010 from Aon Benfield, where he led a broking team and was a member of the directors’ committee.
He holds post-graduate degrees in Finance and Actuarial Studies from ESSEC and graduated from the French Institute of Actuary with honors. A native of France, Christophe is fluent in French and English, with proficiency in German.
Christophe has been working on a number of automotive project in France and Europe including helping the setting up of several MTPL and Casco internal insurers (for car lease companies and OEMs) through a tailor made and adaptive reinsurance structure, finding reinsurance capacity for MGAs in the automotive sector, finding capital equivalent reinsurance structure for capital light insurers, as well as covering the MTPL and Casco exposure of traditional insurers. With an actuarial background, Christophe worked a lot around the quantification and protection of MTPL annuities/PPOs.
