Based in Singapore, Claudio is a Research Manager at Marsh McLennan Advantage where he primarily works on the Climate Resilience and Innovations in Infrastructure themes.
Prior to joining the Advantage team, Claudio was as a Catastrophe Model Developer at Guy Carpenter, specializing in floods, tropical cyclones, and the impacts of climate change on extreme weather events. Before that he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich in Switzerland.
Claudio holds an MSc in Physics and received his PhD in Climate Science from ETH Zurich, with a thesis discussing the role of natural variability as a source of uncertainty in climate change projections.
